homage to monet

Had a few goes at this, trying to get as little focus as possible on the shot. Our painter, Amadeu, was behind me looking totally bemused as I crouched on the floor and photographed the plants. The main colour is going to be cream but the lavender is about the colour I am hoping for in places which will become the feature colour. Unfortunately, the work is being completed while I am not here. I think I have talked Amadeu through it carefully enough, but it wouldn't surprise me if the finished job is mostly lilac with a little bit of cream! Always expect the unexpected!
