Mish-mash

I'm sure fashionistas and sewing machine lovers will recognise this as the window of All Saints (this is the Glasgow one).

I remember being taken aback the first time I saw all those ranks of sewing machines, skewered like kebabs, in the shop window in Manchester.

Largely because I've always coveted an old sewing machine, and also because the history graduate in me felt this was akin to vandalism. Which I'm sure it's not...

Anyway, I liked this image because of the strange effect of mixing the view of the shop with the wet pavement reflection, which looks more like the sea.
