Just Purring...

Some things appear on the surface to be such simple things but upon further inspection can be extremely complicated and I came across two such things today.

Our kitchen scales went a bit belly up today during a baking session. On the surface, they would seem a pretty simple mechanism and for the most part they are, but see trying to put the things back together once assessed and fixed. Sheesh, I think I would have been better suited with thin stick fingers and 12 of them.

A more corporate examples was the humble (Ha!!!) quality assuring checklist. Sounds quite simple. Does program run without error, does it produce the right result???.Nah, the most convoluted crappy document I've come across this year.

I've found that one thing humans tend to do with cats is to judge them on their own terms. Take Sushi here?If you were to judge her by human terms, you might think she's feeling either solumn or bored and inattentive. She's actually just enjoying a wee bit of attention without the enslaught of a 4 year old lunging toward her.
