"possessed by an entity"

I was brought up on black and white sci fi movies such as Them(1954) - early atomic tests in New Mexico cause common ants to mutate into giant man-eating monsters. The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957) exposure to a combination of radiation and insecticide cause a man to shrink to the size of an insect, (there's a theme developing here eh?) and my real favourite The village of the damned (1960) based on John Wyndham's book, The Midwich Cuckoos.
An enduring image from this film is the Professor resisting the alien children reading his mind by imagining a brick wall. So, in a similar fashion, this is a picture of a wall (the bathrooms in Pizza Express to be precise) which I used to stop the mind wizard, Derren Brown, from reading my mind.
At the top of the show, Derren promised us that "By the end of the evening, one of you will find yourselves possessed by an entity". In the event, the only thing I was possessed by, was an overwhelming urge for a long cold drink as the theatre was about 300 degrees up in the gods where we were sat!
The show (Zwengali) had the usual mix of parlour game type 'tricks' and 'how the hell did he do that?' manoeuvres, plus a spooky automaton doll, but left me feeling slightly underwhelmed. However, was it a coincidence that the woman who was picked to come up on stage, was called Suzette.... on pancake day?
