Progress

Last local ski lesson. At the end of the lesson, I watched my daughter make her way down an easy black diamond run. I gave her a big thumbs up and said, "So you're skiing black diamonds, now??"

She said, "No, not yet Mom."

"Well, you just came down a black diamond, did you know that?"

Her face broke into a big (toothless) grin, and she said, "I did?! Really!?" She just beamed, and she couldn't wait to tell her dad when she got home.

What a difference from six weeks ago.
