Is she sick?

This is a picture of the beautiful roses my dad got my mom yesterday for their anniversary. They were just beginning to bloom yesterday and this morning they were all open and lovely.

They're yellow, which prompted the ever sensitive and kind Colleen to ask "What, is mom your friend? Is she sick?" because that's usually the two things yellow roses mean. Oh, my Colleen.

I also have a picture of Colleen from this afternoon when I retreived her from school. She faceplanted on the couch and just laid there for a while. Enjoying the beginning of her vacation, perhaps.
