Wind and Sun

This morning the kids and I walked to school. It was very very windy but not too cold. The sun was shining and the sky was a brilliant blue. It took about 25 mins to get to school and the bell rang just as we arrived so it was perfect timing. Both kids really enjoyed the walk and it didn't seem to wear them out at all.

I love the way this picture is out of focus (due to the wind and the grasses moving so much). Wind plays such a significant part in our life here in the valley and yet it is very difficult to capture a picture of. I think this picture captures the essence of wind very well.
