Unidentified Wildflower (Albuquerque, NM)

The pup and I went for a walk on a large vacant lot. In a drainage down the middle of the thing, we found this wildflower. It was only in the sandy, shallow drainage. I had a hard time convincing the pup not to eat the photographic subject.
