What the...?

Miss Annie and I went for a walk on my favorite trail through Lake Padden Park. I call it Padden Woods, and it's been featured in a few of my blips. If you like moss, you'd like this trail -- take a look at this. I was sorry to see that the leaning tree shown in this blip had been cut down, although I must admit to experiencing a little trepidation whenever I walked under it.

It was late in the day, and only a few narrow shafts of sunlight found their way through the trees, like spotlights. You can see the effect in these photos on my Flickr page.
