Lean and Leaning

Off to Lithgow today. This skinny little tree caught my eye along the way, and I stopped and took a few photos. The first was so overexposed (forgot to change the settings from yesterday afternoon) that it looked like a scene from the Terminator 2 dream sequence with the nuclear blasts. ;-)

I sharpened it; pulled down the RGB curve - applied just to the sky using Filterstorm's colour match tool; pushed the saturation a bit - applied with a gradient so as to get the grass and not much else; straightened it; and cloned out a distracting bit of lens artefact on the tree.

Miss 6, I am told, ran home from the bus stop, so as not to waste a moment before getting onto her mathletics. :-D She is now in bed going to sleep singing and plunking away on her ukulele. Mstr 4, having told us he was "very very tired", is also in bed going to sleep playing with his collection of every Toy car in the observable universe.
