I really wanted to have something bright and colourful today. So I went out and bought a big bag of jellybeans to photograph.

But then I sat down and ate them.

So. Thus thwarted, I spent the rest of the day in gloom. After work I went to a bar with my beautiful friend Luisa for a couple of margaritas (because it was still National Margarita Day somewhere in the world, we figured, and it behooved us to respect foreign customs).

We rapidly came to the conclusion that margaritas on a work night was possibly not that smart. After a few - and having to prop my elbows on the table to hold the camera steady - I ranted something incomprehensible about the lights in the bar and took a photo.
