Urban wildlife

This was one of those (many) occasions when I wished I was a better photographer and was carrying something other than my tiny Canon Ixus. This photograph was taken in deepest, darkest, Hanwell in the London Borough of Ealing. As usual I was taken by surprised and was lucky to get any sort of photograph as the heron took one look at me and flew off before I could have another shot.
