Little Bug
At a craft group a few weeks ago, a lovely lady called Marion showed us how to do needle felting. You start with some wool, and basically stab at it with a barbed needle, until the wool knits together becoming smaller and thicker. There are some amazing felted creations online, from detailed tiny animal replicas to intricate designs of flowers. I'm only an absolute beginner at it, but am hoping that as I practice, I'll be able to become more accurate and add more detail.
This turned into a random multi coloured bug type creature - I think it needs some legs before it's finished.
