Perched up High

Perched up high on one end of the church was this gull, while at the other end the windvane in the shape of a bird turns it's back on the real thing.

Just a straight shot, with a small crop to tighten the image, as I was at the limits of the lens on my compact. Now if my D700 and 50-500mm lens fitted into my coat pocket as neatly, things would have been different!
