Student Antics

Bacillus megaterium.

Bacillus megaterium-a large rod shaped bacterium used a soil inoculant in holticulture and agriculture. We started a microbiology module in Practical Biology today, which was just a basic introduction to bacterium microscopy and preparation.

Really enjoyed this class, the lecturer was very informative and concise.

Lucky I made it out of bed in time for the class, as someone in my halls set off the fire alarm at 03:30am this morning.

A hellish din wakes us all up rather abruptly and we all pile out to freeze on the grass outside. 2 Fire Engines and 20 minutes we were finally allowed back in...

Anyway, here's to a productive afternoon of Immunology.
