Parents and children in the gallery

We had a really great session at the Platform Gallery today. I definitely get more confident with each session and each group has a very different character.
Today, lots of parents wanted to come along as well, so we had 22 children and 11 adults.
The children are so beautiful and if ever you are looking for pictures which capture the ability of art to engage and inspire children, I have them - sadly I don't have permission to use them at the moment and have just taken them for the school's use.
I liked this photo of one of the mums taking a picture of one of the illustrations.
We have our final session at the gallery tomorrow and then we start at school in two weeks. Before that the artist Matthew Roby will be visiting school to talk to the children about his work and to help them develop some of their own characters and sculptures.
