The Tower

Off to Corstorphine woods this morning for a walk - Clare was catching up with some friends from the church so I decided to get out and head for a place that I had been before but wanted to look at it from a photographic potential -

Wood are notoriously difficult to shoot as there is so much going on and as has been said before..

"An artist starts with a blank canvas and creates a picture but a photographer starts with the whole world but then reduces it to one image"

In the end, through the trees, I stumbled upon "The Tower" and with my wide angled lens, captured this shot - will probably publish more of this subject (esp when the weather is better) with more musings about it.....but for now its a place of refuge in the rain.
