Sky Split!

As I drove on the back road to Edinburgh this morning, the sun split the sky - at 7.15am and as I drove over the high hill towards the A1. It was incredible and as the road was clear, I stopped and took some shots. I could not capture the colour which was a shame as it was bright orange.

I was on a single track road and was a great source of amusement to the local farmer who appeared from nowhere! He had to pull right off the road to let me past but did give me a wink and a thumbs up as I tried to pass by with dignity!!

I attended a course on Assessment at the Marriot - well worth the early start and the agony of the by-pass! Great venue and thought provoking day. Met some new faces which is always very refreshing!
