Sunshine and rain

Fairly busy day today.
Quilt class in the morning when I saw a car in the traffic queue with a pink sticker which said "Powered by Fairy Dust" and it made me smile. Anyone know where I can get some? (This had been my blip before I had something to eat - now I've changed it!)

I enjoyed a gorgeous long, long walk with the dogs and all the time the strong wind made the bare trees sigh and shake all around me. The distant hills were more often than not shrouded with dark rain clouds and struggled to shake them off despite the wind. The sun valiantly strove to find a breakthrough where I was walking and when it did it totally transformed the scenery. I love the way the sun has transformed the larch, bracken and even the rather dead looking tree in the foreground of this blip. Sumptuous autumn tones in the death throes of winter!

I now need to print some more cards for a coffee morning on Saturday.
Then, maybe, off to bed! I'm tired...

Thanks to everyone for their comments, stars and heart yesterday as my snowdrop made in into the Spotlight for a while. That made me smile too
