Mountain village

Holiday Day 6
A hard choice today, was it a pic of the mountains and valleys, the village in its setting or one in the village? The approach to the village won as it was where we were heading for the night and gives a good impression of the area.
It was a beautiful day and not quite so cold but we were dropped off at the bottom of the road as it wasn't very clear.
We stayed overnight in the village in 2 groups and were fed excellent local food. After lunch we set out up the hill to visit a gorge but the wind got up and the snow came down so the walk was cut short. It was exilarating in the storm but wouldn't have been if we'd been out much longer. The snow then continued all night.
