Hooked

Had a chat with a policeman today. Apparently he is not happy. It seems people have been travelling down a restricted highway without authority.

It's okay though. He believes in education before punishment. Actually that would be a more coherent policy than presented by Mr Gove.

I wonder if he also believes in educating his fellow officers who routinely break/flaunt laws in their standard issue police motor vehicles.

Anyway. I suggested he just issue a few tickets. So if you have been gleefully been getting away with some minor traffic offences, and suddenly get stung... oops! All apologies.

[Note: I am not one of the aforementioned "people", I was just the recipient of his wee rant. Happy to oblige the local constabulary, of course!]
