my favorite kitchen gadget?

I'd be hard-pressed to really name my favorite kitchen gadget/appliance...there are so many great choices! But my Kitchen Aid stand-up mixer has to be one of my favorites. And one of the most used appliances in my kitchen. So much so that it lives on my counter...year-round...each and every day. When I got it some ten years ago, it literally transformed my baking life. Something that I've never taken for granted.
