Charlotte Square

Today was a good day. I found out that it is likely that my contract at work will be extended, at least in the short term, so it is good to have a bit of time to make a more solid plan for the future.

Met Cyclops for a drink after work in Sygn, it was great to have a chat and extremely useful to pick his very big brain.

After a few days of uninspired blips the walk from my office in the east end of Edinburgh to the pub in the west end of Edinburgh provided the opportunity for a more interesting shot. This is Charlotte Square, during the Edinburgh Festival this is one of my favourite places to be as it's where the Edinburgh International Book Festival is based - a haven of calm in amongst the chaos of the rest of the city.
