The fruits of our labours

Have been planting a beech hedge and lining it with old Glasgow cobbles or 'causies' as they are known in that city. The ground is very stoney and this job is proving a real challenge. Given the shape and propensity for stones it is likely that our garden was once a river bed before the glacier that ploughed through Strathallan in the ice age dumped it on a newly created hill.
