Island Post

It's a second day of fog in the island, and more disruption to flights in and out of Guernsey. My blip today is of a pub called La Fontaine Inn which has a mixture of French and English in the name. Many place names in Guernsey are French, a sign of our links to France. Our local language, Guernsey Patois, is now dying out.
