Love from the start!

It's taken quite a while to reach this point. Have finally become convinced that having a Kindle is a good thing. Since it arrived yesterday I have had great fun looking through the books available in the 'shop' and generally navigating my way around the 'machine' which I have to say is pretty simple. (Buying books with one click is devastatingly easy to do!) It will be most useful when travelling to have plenty of reading material without all the weight of paperbacks. However, it will not usurp all the traditional books I have on the shelf waiting to be read or stop me buying them. Room for both I think!
Beautiful afternoon so just had to get out with Bracken and enjoy the sunshine. Called in to see an elderly friend on the way back and share a cup of tea.
Also we are to be joined unexpectedly by friends at The Dog & Gun for our usual Friday date. It will be good to have company for a change and Jean and I can plan our next photography expedition!
