Crocus

Completely hidden in a corner of the garden, these happy flowers were a joy to find! A lovely warm spring day and good to be out.

Unfortunately T missed being outside since he had to go to a lecture at our seed supplier's re spraying crops to earn his annual points. Later when we have a FABL inspector visit the farm he will be checking up on this. T and the other farmers find the whole thing so boring as it is the same every year with very little new information but it is a way of keeping the many rules and regulations fresh in one's mind. This doesn't apply to N as he has "grandfather's rights" and wont be going spraying very often now!

T has been feeding the new calf born a couple of days ago since the heifer kept shoving the poor thing away when it went up to suck but she is getting used to the idea of being a mother and hopefully soon the problem will be resolved.

Inspiration is an effort so I will be taking a short break from blipping unless something brilliant turns up! Don't worry I'll be back and thank you everyone for your kind comments! Meanwhile I shall enjoy reading and looking at yours!
