Death of a Junco

I had such a happy morning taking pictures of my grandson building a snow fort, and the pretty trees all covered with snow, and my daughter's beautiful green barn (which I will blip at a later date).

Then I got home and thought, hey I'll try for some in flight photos because it's so bright out and all the birds are at the feeders...

Suddenly they all disappeared.

And this is why.



Obviously the quality in this is not what I would hope for, but it was taken in a snowstorm from the opposite side of my yard. Today I decided on content over clarity.
