Captain Tony YULE

What interesting people we get visiting the studios of EastCoast FM: this is Capt Tony Yule, aviator extraordinaire.

He is a retired pilot, with some 46 years of continuous flying experience in his locker - 15 years in the RAF, 22 years with BOAC/British Airways, 5 with Air Europe in Italy and finally another 5 in the Netherlands - phew!

His biggest claim to fame is that he was senior First Officer on Concorde between 1987 and 1993. And this was the reason for his visit - plugging a series of talks on the Concorde at Scotland's National Museum of Flight at East Fortune this weekend. I think the puppet may also be involved.

Sounds like it could be a good day...

n.b. I thought I was a blether, but this guy is a Champion!!

(sorry about poor quality pic - I whipped my camera out, only to discover the SD card was still at home in my laptop. The perils of Blipping late at night when exhausted) The phone had to suffice.
