Amber Beads

A day of sustained work in the garden as the sun shone and the temperature rose into the early twenties.

We still need a fire in the evenings though as as soon as the sun goes down the house gets noticeably chilly. As I was searching through the log pile for my biggy for the evening , ie the fat one that burns slow whilst all the little limbs flare round it, I saw the resin seeping from the remains of my last fir.

In light of little else worth a shot today, unless I waited for yet another show off sunset, I captured the tears of the forest.
