NEW YORK - LONDON - PARIS

Another Spring-like day in SE London - fab! Even MORE fab because I was on leave today, and I met up with three uni friends, Meryl, Rachel and Jan. We matriculated in 1987 - sometimes it seems like yesterday, while at other times, it is like a dim and distant memory.

Meryl, Rachel, Jan and I were like ladies who lunch - but our champagne tastes, lemonade salaries dictated that we ate at Prezzo, a nice Italian chain, and NOT at The Ritz...

And yes, if we were ladies who lunch, perhaps we would have popped into Somerset House, sitting in the front row of some swanky fashion show, but then we would have missed out on chatting, gossiping and generally having a lovely time.

So, it was New York Fashion Week last week, this week it is London's turn, and next in line - Paris.
