Crocus colours

Bit cliched with the old spring is coming flower shot, but I love the colour of the vibrant purple and the flame orange stamen, peeping through the carpet of dead leaves.
It was a toss-up however with this or a cute shot that I grabbed at work today of our school pond, with 3 beautiful mandarin ducks, perched in a tree. I have never seen ducks in a tree before!
