Freshly baked bread....

... I didn't realise it would take quite so long...put it into the mixer and something went 'crack' not a nice sound.... then, it would only work if i took the dough out... grrrrr... After hand kneading it for 20 minutes we rested for 1 hour... so did the bread, then we kneaded it again then needed another rest... it didn't come out of the oven till 10 to 12... great bread but oh such a lonnnnng time!!!

In other news, I've just made 6 litres of broccoli and Stilton soup to go with the bread tomorrow!
