I'm leaving on a jet plane

I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again (ok I do, I'll be back on the 3rd march). I'm just currently packing (pic), for my snowboarding holiday and have got to get up at 4am tomorrow to get to the airport.

I had the best day at work knowing I have got a week off. I was asked last minute to do a presentation for one of my colleagues who goes on maternity leave today and she is also a project manager. In the speech I said that we all hoped that she delivers the baby on time unlike her projects which are always delivered late. I also said that you can guarantee that once she has the baby her costs and budget would spiral out of control which is just like her portfolio of projects. To be fair I got quiet a few laughs and I think she really appreciated the presentation. Maybe I'm in the wrong job and should become a comedian, (an unfunny one at that).

When I got home I realised that I haven't got my travel insurance so I had to rush around for the best deal and quickly order it just in time for my holiday tomorrow. Isn't it ironic I was taking the p**s out of another project managers capability and I couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery, classic.
