A walk in the forest

Holiday Day 7
Still snowing when got up and continued all day, with a strong wind re-distributing the snow already fallen. The path to the house where we had breakfast had almost vanished and the snow was thigh deep in places, so we earned our breakfast of doughnuts, plum jam and sour cream.
Afterwards we walked back to the road and then were transported to where the Olympic cross-country skiing was held for lunch in our hotel - we were the only guests!.
The afternoon's walk was in the forest out of the wind, but very slow due to the fresh snow. It gives a very primitive feeling walking in such conditions.
