Watching the Sunset

Tom and I went across to the beach tonight.

He hasn't been for a couple of weeks, ever since he decided to swim in the burn and (temporarily) froze the use out of his back legs!

So today I kept him on his lead, at which he had a good grumble. He had a bit of a paddle, paws only, and a good sniff around. He met a greyhound who wanted to race, and her owner, who called Tom a good boy (he squirmed with pleasure), and her toddler who patted Tom on the head (another squirm).

But mostly Tom just sat and watched the sunset across the bay, and smelled the air.
