Oval Room
Today we went to Haarlem, a town near Amsterdam, to visit the Teylers Museum, a unique and old (1779) museum which is largely still the same as two centuries ago. We had planned on going there for some time and because I have to make an report on it in the near future we finally went. They've got various exibitions, including fossils, paintings and a large collection of 17th-18th century scientific equipment.
This is the 'Oval Room', the oldest and most well-known part of the complex. You should compare this painting, made in the early 1800s, to the picture; it's exactly the same.
