Silk purse, sow's ear!
It's been a manic 48 hours. So much to do, had to do a 'Jet Fighter' just to tread water! ('cockney rhyming slang' for those interested in looking it up!)
In and amongst all that, I was back in the employ of my client wanting sexy pictures of his lead work. This is a project where they did all the lead cladding work. They won't get to see this one (not sexy enough), but the cladding lends itself to some HDR processing as it's sheets of lead overlapping, and they 'weather', so can end up looking quite 'grubby' all by themselves.
Of course my task for the client was to somehow make the project look sexy. They'll get to see a re-touched version of this kind of thing, which is a detail shot, so you can understand my reference to a silk purse.
Personally, I prefer the sow's ear!
