Sunset Castle
I haven't bothered getting out of my PJ's today and thought I would have to do a cat shot but then I saw the setting sun and knew I could get some shots from the front and back doors. A dozen pics later and I chose this one as it has colour and sun and interesting layout, and yes that is the view from my front door!
The brown hedge is my planting, while husband then went and put in Leylandi in front of them! which is the green at the bottom!
The mossy wall is the edge of the 13th centuary castle while the main building in the centre is victorian, and very pretty.
The trees are the sycamores, and are just about weeds round here! but means we get lots of green in summer :-) but no leaves back yet so very bare!
I love the little round turrets and other extras bits that make it so unique. I will be taking more of it as time passes. So I work in a victorian building I live looking at a victorian building, but live in one much older :-).
Another blip another day!
