Mud on the Avon

The tide was on its way out this afternoon when I cycled up the Avon Gorge on an exploratory ride to see how long it would take me to get to work. The mud on the river is special I think, and when you catch it glistening like this in the sunshine you could almost believe it would have medicinal properties. Not sure I'd like to find out though...
