Busking swan
Today I was torn between posting a photo that told more of a story or posting a more interesting photo. The latter won. I went down to the Thames this morning as it was such a lovely day with a lovely quality of light bouncing off the water. Initially I wanted to take some shots of the Eton boathouses, shortly to be partially demolished, to make way for a fat-cat riverside development of apartments of dubious architectural merit. This is despite the fact that they are listed buildings. Money speaks in modern day England ! However, the Mute Swans were proving to be a distraction with a couple of birds engaging in a threat display known as busking.
