Learning curve

Wanting something a between my smartphone camera and my bulkier camera, that I can carry in my pocket, I decided to resuscitate an old HP Photosmart 735 that hasn't been used for a couple of years.
Not being familiar with the camera the result was some under-exposed photos.
So I had a bit of a play with one of them them using layers and curves in Paint.NET. Anyway, it's different.
The chapel of the left is the Colegiata San Juan Bautista, c.1718.
The neo-renaissance/neo-Spanish Casa Paquet building at the end is c.1918
To the right are walls of roman Gijon, reconstructed in brick in the late 20th century.
