Town on a Saturday

I spent the main part of the afternoon in town today, enjoying the sunshine and (unusually for me) mostly succeeding at remembering I was really there to do some shopping instead of taking photos. This particular view seemed fairly representative of the experience of town today (even down to the hint of zombie movie about it) and merited a photo or two; I also stopped to witness a bizarre confrontation between a very unlikely 'Native American' street performer (he looked like a reject from a Village People tribute band and had an Italian accent, headress and panpipes) and a teenager who wound him up by doing a ridiculous dance, which to be fair was a good response to the spectacle.
