Closed-toed shoes

I went with my dad's girlfriend to her gym and put my arms and abs to hard work. At one point, I was on the bicycle machine and CNN was on TV. They were interviewing people about the VP nominations and who they thought should earm the position for each party. One guy said, "I think it would be really, really nice if Hilary joined the Obama team as the VP candidate... so it would create chaos for the democratic party and make McCain look good."

I watched The Onion Movie with Dustin. My favorite part is when a hippie leading a protest against war between two (fake) countries got selected by the CIA to meet with the leader of each country and convince them that war was wrong. He went and told them, "War is bad!! You should LOVE!" and some typical hippie B.S. and the leaders went, "Wow, you are so right." Next, you could see the hippie and the country leaders having a good time, washing a car and smoking a bong. I found it absolutely hilarious, as I'm always poking fun at the protests against Bush hosted by students at my school. I'm sure Bush is sitting in the White House right now saying, "What, 50 Columbia College students are parading on the sidewalk with pictures of me and saying that I'm an awful person?! Oh no! I must resign, oh I must! This is simply too much to handle!" Don't get me wrong -- protests are good because people are standing up for themselves but in situations like this, they are completely pointless.

It's like crying over spilled milk. The damage has been done. There's no way these little protests could get Bush to resign or get impeached. He is on his 2nd term, so there's no point in stopping him from getting reelected, because he has reached his limit! I don't know... sometimes seeing people sit around and whine about something that's beyond their control just gets on my nerves. They should either stop whining & accept it or actually DO something to make the situation better for themselves.

Yeah, I'm yapping. Sorry. All in all, my day was good.
