Muscat
Muttrah is a city located in the Muscat province of Oman. Before the discovery of oil, Muttrah was the center of commerce in Oman. It is still a center of commerce as one of largest sea ports of the region is located there. Landmarks include Souq Muttrah, one of the oldest marketplaces in the Arab world, where Calum bought his Kumma (Omani hat)

We also visited the Sultan's Al Alam Palace in Old Muscat. Al Alam Palace is surrounded by the Al Mirani and AL Jalali Forts built in the 16th century by the Portuguese.
