full of hot air

Sarah & Corin went hot air ballooning today, they had to be up at 6.45am, as did I as I had to take them to the meeting point. They and four others were then taken to the launch site and helped to inflate the balloon. The photo is of the balloon being inflated initially by a huge fan, when it had enough air in it then they got the burners out and continued inflating the balloon. When it was fully inflated they all had to scramble into the basket and it went sailing sedately off into the morning sky.

Some of the pictures in the link are of the farmer whose field they used, he must be used to this occurrence as he was very cheerful waiving to us all as he cycled up the track.
