MacMac Falls
This beautiful waterfall between Sabie and Graskop, takes its name from the gold diggings in the surrounding area.
These diggings were very active in the late 1860's to early 1870's, and were officially named "New Caledonia Goldfields". President Burgers at the time is said to have christened the diggings 'MacMac" due to all the Scottish names of the claim licence holders.
