Here is Chloe running at high speed through the marram grass at Mawbray! There is a mile or so of sand dunes at Mawbray on the Solway Coast.

When does Spring begin? The weather forecasters say it begins on 1st March, yet my diary says 21st March!!! Looks as if it has started already to me!

Coffin Route...Yesterday I talked about walking along a Coffin Route. These were used to take coffins to a place of consecrated ground. Along yesterday's route there were several big flat slabs where the coffin could be rested for a short while. This gave the bearers chance to get their breath back! Try googling:- coffin route
