Blanket of crocuses

Quite chilly today but a trip into town was required so parked near the North Inch and there were loads of crocuses (croci?) in bloom. Is it just me, or is it really early for them to be out? Anyway, they were beautiful and the girls carefully stepped over them to get to the base of this tree for a photo.

Busy Sunday as always at the North Inch, with dog walkers, pram pushers, joggers, runners, cyclists, golfers, Sunday strollers, and a Boys Brigade fun run thrown in for good measure. Plus the final of the World Indoor Tug O' War Championships in Bells Sports Centre, which I believe was won by Scotland! There is definitely a feeling of everyone waking up after Winter and getting out and about!
