Roath

I'm pleasantly surprised by this photo!

I have had THE BEST day. Picked Mimi up at 9.40, then we went to my new favourite cafe for a few hours - the catch up begins. We did a spot of shopping, then headed to Roath Lake with some raspberries to enjoy the sunshine. 6 hours in and we're still catching up. I tried to take a few photos of the birds flying around; the majority weren't anything special but I liked the simplicity of this one :) Definitely learning that for every good shot there are a few dozen crap ones...
We came back, made hot chocolate, chatted for another 3 hours or so, just to cover anything we'd missed.
After a solid 10 hours talking, we got round to ordering a takeaway, and then we made a delectable banana cake and watched Kate and Leopold.

I love a good catch up :D
